In October 2016, Massnano fullfilled pilot experiment of Carbon nano-onions,also known as Onion-like Carbon or multi-layer fullerenes. This material provides ultra-low friction under high surface pressure.

When OLC is added to lubricating oil and other materials, improvements in tribological characteristics and functionality can be expected.

It is a new environmental-friendly material that poses no harm to human body. Regardless of use in air or under vacuum, CNOs exhibits excellent tribological characteristics. Therefore, CNO is expected to be used as an additive for engine oil, metal cutting oil, grease and resin materials. 

After 2 years running, Massnano could produce Carbon nano-onions ranging in a size range between 20-50 nm. 

We have 13000 square meter facility with 14 parallel production line of CNOs, 1kg output for each line, 4000kgs output anually.
